Pattern grid

Click a cell to cycle: Hit Accent Ghost (snare) Cross-stick (snare) Open (hi-hat) Drag to paint. Right-click or Alt-click a step to split it (e.g. a 16th into two 32nds) or merge it. Click a bar title to select bars for copy and paste; Shift-click selects a range. Click a count (1 e & a) or the score to start playback there. The ↵ button in a bar's header starts a new score line after it.

Drum kit

Changes apply right away, even while a groove is playing. Your kit is saved in this browser and used for every groove. The recorded jazz kit uses samples from Virtuosity Drums (public domain); its Length slider can shorten a drum but not lengthen it.
